Wax Guide:
½ block (150g) = 1 candle

(Our kit provides enough soy wax for 4 small candles.)
Instruction:
Step 1. Prepare Jars
- Clean and dry all jars thoroughly.
- Apply a warning label to each jar before use.
- Attach wick stickums to the base of each wick and secure firmly in the bottom centre of each jar.
- Use wick holders or pegs to keep wicks upright and centred
Step 2. Melt the wax
- Remove wax from plastic packaging and cut into small pieces to fit the pouring jug.
- Use 300g wax to make 2 candles, or 150g wax to make 1 candle.
- Place wax into the pouring jug.
- Microwave in short intervals, stirring between each interval.
- Depending on microwave wattage, melting may take approximately 2–3 minutes. Never leave wax unattended while heating. Do not overheat.
- Heat wax to approximately 80°C (thermometer recommended).
- If using a different wax, always follow the supplier’s temperature guidelines.
Step 3. Add Fragrance
-
Pour 15ml fragrance for 1 candle or 30ml fragrance for 2 candles.
(Adjust amount to your liking) - Allow wax to cool slightly to approximately 70°C, then add fragrance oil.
- Stir gently for 30 seconds to combine.
Step 4. Pour
- Pour wax slowly and carefully into prepared jars.
- Keep wicks centred with wick holder and peg.
Step 5. Set
- Leave candles undisturbed at room temperature.
- Allow to set overnight
Step 6. Trim & Cure
- Trim wick to 5mm before lighting.
- Allow candles to cure for 1 week for the best scent throw.
- Always trim your wicks before every use for a clean burn.
Cleaning Your Jug
- Do not pour wax down the sink, as it can block drains.
- Wipe excess wax from the jug using paper towel.
Burn Instruction
- Light your candle for at least 2 hours the first time of use. Candles have burn memory. This will prevent tunnelling and make your candle last longer.
